Wild2Ride Academy is a life changing experience. It is a retreat where one can let go, grow, and find themselves. I spent five days at the academy for a weekly intensive. Wild2Ride not only helped me to become more confident working with mustangs, but also more confident in myself. It was honestly one of my favorite life experiences thus far.

 

After the weekly intensive I sent my Devil’s Garden mare, Prairie, to be trained by Joe. While Prairie was in training I was able to visit and work with Prairie with Joe’s guidance. This gave me the confidence that I would be able to continue working with her on my own. Even after bringing her home, Joe has made himself available for advice when I need it.

 

Joe did such a phenomenal job with Prairie that I decided to send our second mustang mare, Ducky, to him. I am so happy with the training that both mares have received. Joe covers everything from saddle training to hoof care to teaching patience to introduction to obstacles.

 

Joe has a very calm demeanor that is beneficial for both the horses and people he works with. Joe takes things slow with the mustangs which ends up creating a rock solid foundation. “Slow is fast, make it gravy”.

 

I would highly recommend Joe Misner as a teacher for both humans and horses.
